“Enjoyable beyond our expectations”

Jambo & Namaste/ Adaab

On behalf of Savkur family, I would like to thank you and your wonderful colleagues all of whom were responsible to make our visit to Kenya for the Safari enjoyable beyond our expectations. Each one of us including our darling grand daughter, Sara, will cherish the fond memories of our trip to Kenya.

While we appreciate the manner in which our itinerary was drawn up within the limited number of days at your disposal, in retrospect, all of felt that an extra day in Masai Mara would have been worth it.  The accommodation and food provided in all the hotels/ resorts was delicious and catered to everyone’s taste. Never believed Indian dishes are so popular in Kenya. We did have a taste of the ethnic dishes as well. They were nice too.

The Lake Naivasha  Sopa Resort though very spacious was mosquito infested and one of the bathrooms had a pervading foul smell in it. You may, perhaps, like to inform its management as we were given the impression that this resort is under renovation. Kindly do not take this as a complaint.

We would like to thank Mr. Aggrey who was in constant touch with us for over 5/6 months with his prompt responses, Mr. James who received us at the Airport on arrival to give us the briefing and Ms. Alice who enquired about our experience and bade us good bye when we were on our way to the airport for our flight back home.

Our special thanks and gratitude go to Mr. Gabriel whose driving skills, spotting/identifying animals much before we could and the fund of knowledge he possesses about entire ecology were par excellence. His cool temperament, patience to listen to each one of us throwing questions at him and his way of succinctly replying each question was outstanding. In Gabriel, you have a human asset that any visitor would crave for as driver and guide. You may like to convey our feelings to each one of them.

Last but not least, how can we forget our dear Sadanand Savanal but for whom we would never have got to know African Quest. We wish we had met you in person but those in business world have to be excused for their precious time. Never mind, there is always another day. Inshallah!!!

Thank you all once again.

Regards,

Kishore Savkur.
