Location
Mombasa is located in the south-eastern part of the country. It is the second largest city in Kenya with a population of half a million people. It has a major port and an international airport.

The dominating feature is the old town and harbour, at the entrance of which lies the imposing Fort Jesus built in 1598 by the Portuguese. Mombasa is a true melting pot of cultures. On its north and south mainland, you will find a selection of hotels and beach resorts.
