Nine Days Tour

Day One
You arrive in Nairobi and are met by our representative. You transfer to your hotel for check in and an overnight stay.

Day Two - Nairobi - Samburu
Activity
You drive to Samburu National Reserve - 350 kms from Nairobi. You check in to your lodge and have your lunch.

Views and Vistas
In the afternoon, you go for a game-drive in the reserve and take in the scenery with its unique flora and fauna. The reserve is home to Grevy's zebra, the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffes and the Somali ostrich. Other mammals that frequent the park include the African elephant, lions, cheetahs, the African buffalo and impalas.

Day Three
You will spend the full day in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. All your meals will be at the lodge, where you will spend the night.

Day Four - Samburu- Bogoria
Activity

You drive to the Lake Bogoria National Reserve post breakfast. Check-in at the lodge will be followed by lunch. In the afternoon, you go for a game-drive and visit the geysers and hot springs nearby.

Views and Vistas
The Lake Bogoria waters contain a blue - green algae that attracts thousands of flamingos in season, and the entire lake becomes a swarm of pink. In the grasslands surrounding the lake, you can spot the buffalo, the zebra, the dik-dik and impalas.

Day Five - Bogoria - Lake Nakuru
Activity

You drive to Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast. Lake Nakuru is located in central Kenya, around 140 kms away from Nairobi in the Nakuru district of the Rift Valley province. Check-in at the lodge is followed by lunch. In the afternoon, you go for a game-drive in the park and around the alkaline lake.

Views and Vistas
The lake is famous for its large concentration of pink flamingos and other bird life. It is the first Rhino Sanctuary in Kenya for both the black and white species.Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

DAY Six - Lake Nakuru - Trek
Activity

You drive to Mai Mahiu Station after breakfast. Here, you will meet up with your new team members- The Trek Specialists. You depart from Mai Mahiu, passing Longonot and Suswa volcanoes en-route to Narok, the administrative centre for the area.

Views and Vistas
You have lunch and thereafter head to Barakitabu arriving at the camp lying under 'fever' trees and a gurgling stream by mid-afternoon. You settle in and then you go out for your first afternoon walk around the location. You return before nightfall. After refreshing yourself you can indulge yourselves with drinks, supper and a nightcap around your campfire. This is the African night - listen to its sounds, and take in the sensation of part of Mother Nature, in all her wild glory.

DAY Seven
Activity

You have a hearty English-style breakfast and then you head off into the hills for a walk.

Views and Vistas
You view the flora, fauna and listen to the stories about the local people and their customs. Lunch will be served at the camp where you can relax for some time before setting off to visit a naturalist's home. You see the people's way of living first-hand, and later, you return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY Eight
Activities and Views

You begin your day with an early morning walk even as your surroundings come to life after the night. Breakfast follows and thereafter, you can choose between a game-drive or a walk in the hills, or a full day's game-viewing. You return before sunset to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY Nine - Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning walk or game-drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Return to Nairobi, arriving by midday. Evening departure or onward arrangements
